Selling a book is a collaborative effort between the publisher and the author. With our small production team Bell Frog Books is no exception. Along with your submission you need to make a convincing argument as to how you can contribute to making your book sell.
We will only accept submissions for novels we believe in and that we think will sell. The following instructions are your guide to telling us how your novel fits this criteria.
We only accept email submissions. Anything sent to us in the post will be immediately recycled. Before submitting, read our mission statement and make sure you're familiar with our current titles. Only those submissions that align with our goals and list will be considered.
Please send a single document attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information.
Document Specs: PDF, .doc or .docx; 12 point serif font
Book Specs: genre; half-page blurb; maximum two page synopsis; total current word count; target market; comparison to similar books on the market OR evidence that there is a gap and how this book can fill it
Author Specs: website; social media; previously published/ performed work; publicity channels; awards
Book: first three chapters
We will contact you within three months if we think your submission has potential. Unfortunately we cannot give feedback on submissions we don't accept.
